Shropshire Dyslexia Award Nominations are Now OPEN!

Shropshire Dyslexia Award Nominations are Now OPEN!

| by Editor | Posted in Telford News

2017 sees the second Dyslexia Awards launched in Shropshire, with awards for adults, children and educators; it promises to be another year of amazing awards to honour some amazing people.

Dyslexia Awards Founder Elizabeth Wilkinson says, “I cannot believe how successful last year’s awards were; I was bowled over by the support of local, national and international businesses, and this year we have even more amazing companies getting involved.”

The newest company to jump on board and sponsor an award is Shrewsbury based Darwin Wealth Management. Med Evans of Darwin Wealth Management offered his support for the awards last week when he heard that they still needed two more sponsors.

Sponsoring the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award, Med stated that he knows that dyslexics can achieve great things and how important apprentices are, so he wanted to choose a category that he felt was important.

Nominations for the apprentice awards are open to all apprentices who are dyslexic and live or work in Shropshire. To nominate for this or any other award please visit the website:

Nominations are open until the end of September, but Elizabeth asks, “please don’t wait until the last minute to nominate, nominate now!”

You can also download a print-friendly Dyslexia Awards poster for your office or staff notice board, here:
